การบินไทยกำหนดมาตรการการพกพา Power Bank เพื่อความปลอดภัยของผู้โดยสาร เนื่องจากเหตุการณ์เพลิงไหม้ที่เกิดขึ้นกับสายการบินต่างประเทศ ซึ่งมีข้อสันนิษฐานว่า อาจเกี่ยวข้องกับการใช้งาน Power Bank ระหว่างเที่ยวบินบริษัท การบินไทย จำกัด (มหาชน) จึงกำหนดมาตรการด้านความปลอดภัย โดยไม่อนุญาตให้ใช้ Power Bank ระหว่างอยู่บนเครื่องบิน มีผลตั้งแต่วันที่ 15 มีนาคม 2568 เป็นต้นไป
